Computer management console is the snapin where we can see all the vital information about a system. It has other management consoles integrated into it(like services management console, disk management console etc.) and also some other utilities like event viewer.
The above snapshot is taken on a Windows XP Home computer and hence it does not show Users and Groups node.
This computer management console can be opened by right clicking on My computer in the Start menu. We can also open it from command prompt or from Run. The Run command for opening computer management is compmgmt.msc
This compmgmt.msc command works with all editions of Windows OS(Windows XP, Vista and Windows7).
Whaw! That’s amazing. Was about to use DiskManagement and got stuck while opening it. Command Line “compmgmt.msc” helped me to accomplish the task :)
Thanks a lot B-)
For Disk Management u can Use the runcommand
“diskmgmt.msc”
Thanks!
I used to right-click on my computer and nothing would appear.
How to apply this to my work flow for precise data system production.
Thanks. That was helpful
